Just a few random thoughts and pictures

Normal service is resumed…

And of course, by normal service, I mean I had another restless night, then got up to find another “sorry we missed you” card through the letter box, left by yet another muppet who doesn’t know how to use a damn doorbell…

Sorry for the rant, but this is really starting to annoy me now, I mean it’s right there at eye level, how do they miss it? *sigh* Never mind, there’s some TV I can watch tonight and over the weekend to lighten my mood.

Firstly, featuring DT;

Sky Family (306) – Sat 29 Jan – St. Trinians 2, The Legend of Frittons Gold at 1:20pm and 8:00pm.
Watch (Sky 109, Virgin 124) – is doing their usual batch DW eps as follows; Sat 29 Jan they’re showing Partners In Crime at 5:00pm, The Fires Of Pompeii at 6:00pm, Planet Of The Ood at 7:00pm and Daleks In Manhattan at 8:00pm. Then on Sun 30 Jan they’re showing those again, plus a few more, starting with Partners In Crime at 11:00am, The Fires Of Pompeii at 12:00 noon, Planet Of The Ood at 1:00pm, The Sontaran Stratagem at 2:00pm, The Poison Sky at 3:00pm, The Doctor’s Daughter at 4:00pm, The Unicorn And The Wasp at 5:00pm, and after an hours break, Daleks In Manhattan at 7:00pm

And just in case I yet again fail to do the weekly TV round up on Sunday, I should mention now that DT’s episode of Who Do You Think You Are? will be shown on Blighty (Sky 534, virgin 206) on Tues 1 Feb at 11:00am.

Next up, CE is on TV tonight and over the weekend, although sadly not nearly as much as DT;

Watch (Sky 109, Virgin 124) – Fri 28 Jan, Father’s Day at 5:40pm
Sky Action (305) – G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra at 10:00am and 6:00pm

And again, just in case, the Top Gear episode with CE’s interview and lap will be shown on Dave (Sky 111, Virgin 128, Freeview 19) on Mon 31 Jan at 4:00pm, and on Tues 1 Feb at 9:00am and 12:00noon.

As always, all the above can also be seen an hour later on the relevant +1 channel where available. And finally, before I call it a day, collider.com has an interesting interview with Fright Night screen writer Marti Noxon, which as you’d expect mentions DT, you can find it here. Okay, onto today’s picture, which made me smile, hope it works for you too…

  1. That is a seriously cute pic!

    I watched (most of) the drama about Bloody Sunday last night and recorded the documentary. The drama left me in tears – mostly because most of the innocent people who died were 17 year olds and of course partly because i remembered that some of DT’s family were in Derry at the time, very sobering viewing. Anyone who can see Who Do You Think You Are, either on TV or DVD I would urge you to watch it – some of it is not easy to watch but as you may expect there’s a good dollop of humour, too.

    • isn’t it just the cutest? 🙂

      I have seen Who Do You Think You Are, have it recorded from last time it was one, and yes it is very moving at times, but also interesting and fun in parts too
