Just a few random thoughts and pictures

Another award for DT…

Yes, he’s done it again. This time he’s won a Constellation Award (Canada’s Awards for excellence in Science Fiction Film and Television…

For the third time in fours years, David has won the award for “Best Male Performance in a Science Fiction Television Episode” for the special episode The Waters Of Mars. He previously won in both 2007 (for The Girl In The Fireplace) and 2008 (for Human Nature/The Family Of Blood), but missed out in 2009.

Previously, in 2007, 2008 and 2009 the series itself also won the award for Best Science Fiction Television Series, although this year it only managed third place. Given that there wasn’t a full series of the show in 2009 though (the award is for the previous year each time) I suppose that’s to be expected. You can see the full results for the 2010 awards, and previous years, here.

And of course, don’t forget, the Airlock Alpha awards, as voting is still open for another day or so, so get yourself over there and place your votes. Click here to vote. And pass the message along too of course.

And to round things off for today, who’s up for a freckle counting session? Ok then, lets go. Please Note: blog owner accepts no responsibility for damp monitors, so no licking your screens ladies, please…

  1. YAY for David! Of course, he deserves it for being so awesome.

Yes, I have voted in the Airlock awards, thanks for the prod.

Hmmmmm…. Freckles r us! 🙂 Lovely! Couldn’t you just drown in those eyes? Wonder what he’s thinking…

Ooh, and the other pic of him is gorgeous, too – Wonder who he’s trying to avoid?!

  2. Voting ends for the Airlock ones on Sunday, so I thought a reminder was a good idea.

Oh and as for that second pic, if you want a wallpaper sized one, follow the link, there’s an 800 one and a 1024 one there for download. Plus a few other bits of yummyness (is that even a word?)
